Vision & Goals
Vision & Goals
It is our vision to see this production reach hundreds of thousands of people across America by touring on a national level. Further, the production has the potential to play in theaters in other countries, as its theme of healing after abuse is both universal and timeless. The production and the music are both tools of empowerment and healing. Therefore, the production serves as entertainment and ministry all in one. SOUL ON FIRE is a tale of hope for all who have endured the aftermath of rape and other abuse; and for families and communities who feel beyond the reach of healing. The music infuses rich and diverse genres with cutting edge dialogue. This musical explores the powers of the spirit realm thru the mind of a young woman scorned. It is the battle of good and evil; of angels and demons; the choice of love versus hate; of forgiveness and redemption. The story of Kisha is the story of many who never tell. This show makes a simple statement encouraging the world to break the Silence.
Our short term goals include:
-assembling a full development team;
-locating funding sources and raising enough capital to run the show with ease, covering all fees associated with the general run;
-recording a cast album;
In the next five years, we plan to have completed our national touring program beginning with the East coast (North Carolina; Washington, DC; Maryland; Pennsylvania; and New York) followed by a world tour, possibly with more than one cast following the New York debut (Broadway). There is also the potential for film options and is adaptable for screen.
